About Us

OUR HEAD CHEF | FOUNDER

Chef John Kanadu is the creator, head Chef and lead instructor. With over 20 years of experience as a Chef and instructor, Chef John has mastered the art of creating great food. His training has taken him around the world learning and appreciating food of all kinds including recipes from his native Ghana. He holds several degrees and has created a philosohy for learning that can be successful with any person who has a desire to master great cuisine. 

ESTABLISHED

At the Institute of Culinary Techniques, we offer programs and classes designed to provide instruction to any person, whether a new chef, an everyday kitchen warrior or an accomplished professional who wants to enhance their techniques.

COMMUNITY DRIVEN

One of the goals of ICT is to offer courses to students who are not interested in traditional secondary schools. We also want to connect with persons wanting to start a new career or who are rebuilding their lives after a misfortune, like incarceration.
